Welcome to our Bed and Breakfast

“Your home is beautiful and the property is spectacular. We truly enjoyed our walk around the vineyard and it was a treat to come back to a fabulous breakfast.”John & Sheila, Pasadena CA
Travel down a narrow country road to our secluded accommodations overlooking beautiful west side Paso Robles Wine Country, in Central California. On arrival, you’ll come upon a profusion of flowers to complement the fountain and small sitting area by our entrance. As you walk through our home you can see the lawn area, the oak trees and the deck providing other colorful areas with flowers, benches and umbrella covered tables. Breakfast may be served here and the scenery enjoyed, weather permitting.
Inside our home, you’ll find spacious sunlit rooms with walls hung with early California paintings and etchings, many by family artists and the artist’s friends.

From the stone fireplace in the living room, to the large open kitchen, you will find a place to relax, or a place to harass the cook. The “old cook” prepares a country style breakfast to be enjoyed on the deck or in our dining room with panoramic views of vineyards and far away hills.
Leave time to stroll in the vineyard or curl up on the deck with a good book and enjoy the total serenity of Mother Nature. We provide complementary tasting cards for local wineries. The friendliness of the area becomes a reality if you chose to visit their wineries.
Can you imagine a more peaceful setting? Whether you are waking up with a cup of coffee or tea, or enjoying a glass of wine at the end of the day, this is the place to be. The view and the quiet surrounding will be enchanting. In the evening you can sit and enjoy the fire pit while gazing at the stars. This is not a dream; this is your Rancho de Voladores experience!

About Us

Ann and George decided to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary by opening a Bed and Breakfast. The Perhams were longtime residents of the San Francisco Bay Area, with connections dating back to the 1870s. They sold their home there in 2000 and resettled on a new vineyard in rural Paso Robles. They designed their home to enjoy the beautiful views and the visits from their friends, their four children, and their many grandchildren. The Perhams look forward to providing a pleasant, relaxing, and memorable stay for their guests as well.
About Our Vineyard

Rancho de Voladores Vineyard (Ranch of the Soaring Birds) rests on eighty secluded acres of some of Paso Robles most beautiful mountain country, situated between twelve and fourteen hundred feet in elevation. Whether lush green in the spring, or golden in the fall, the views are enhanced by faraway mountains, open fields and nearby oak forests. A wooded seasonal creek runs through the ranch, adding to the variety of the countryside. Its thirty acres of Bordeaux and Rhone style grapes are prized for their quality, which is derived partly from the varied terrain and partly from the attention given to each individual vine. The Zinfandel vines are head pruned. The Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Syrah vines are trained on a double curtain wire trellis. This system takes years longer to reach full production, but eventually provides optimum air and sunlight to the clusters. A well known local producer of fine wines has stated that “Rancho de Voladores Vineyard has one of the best vineyard locations on the Central Coast.”
Enjoy the comfort of our living room with views of the vineyard and Mother Nature's artistry.
Events and Weddings

This magnificent property and vineyard is well suited for a small and exclusive wedding and/ or reception. The extensive lawn area can accommodate a setting for groups up to a hundred people. The deck area accommodates serving tables, a bar and a musical group or DJ.
Although peace and quiet are two of our favorite amenities, a joyful event is exciting and memorable also. Ann and George are making this beautiful setting available and will be happy to recommend coordinators to help plan the event. Give us a call for more information and rates.
